The pursuit of happiness :
Independent read me text!!!!!

 Ajay Nambiar

Not many  movies will make you cry and often gets forgotten within hours watching them.
But this time, on the fag end of march, its this not so old movie, which shows a period hardly three decades ago.

Yes, its about the Will smith starred “The Pursuit of Happiness” and the for the word pursuit, I am yet to find a meaning in this room.

It simply tells the story of a black man of 1980s and his struggle to make his life big. Chris Gardner, a simple but competent never say die salesman who eventually gets stranded by his wife when the small family were not afford to pay even the parking bills or fines slapped by cops on to their family car which he eventually loses.

Chris finally meets an investment banker kind of stock broker who was slightly  impressed by the skill and attitude of Chris , offers an option to be one intern in his firm. Its melodrama, but need to get accepted by us, as this is one way the director will ask us to see the remaining part.

The idea of giving 100% to work is something really strange to me and even after seeing the whole movie, created no changes in my weird thought process.

Ok, ok , now I say, the film is ok and show us the situation that a man can get really hurt, unnoticed though, the situation can be scary when you have nothing, just nothing in your pocket.

Imagine, when I am deserted by my wife, lose my home, not having a penny in ma pocket, still has a child of hardly six years. That too when I work as an intern for six continues months without salary, unimaginable for me!

Just not like any depressed pig who gets thrilled and receives a morale boost  after watching this flick for 90 minutes. It made me to think this.

1. There are so many, so many home less, so many jobless with nothing but their hunger as their ultimate target, those happens to sleep in toilets, bays, trains.
The life is like that only, some are born rich, some born in rags; I don’t know whether these usages are good or not, well, its your kind of view.

2. So there are many ways, hard work, eating your piled up ancestral nuts, leading a lazy dog kind style and ultimately realizing your limits and boundaries.
This guy was good at numbers than selling those bone scanners, but look at you, and me, what are we good at man? So just realize!

3. Again, getting pessimistic this time, how long, its for how long all these things do happen. Now, I remember those lines sung in that church in that movie.
Lord, don’t move that mountain before me, but give me the strength to climb it!

My version will be like this,

Please show me a clue to the tunnel built within or at least the pass built around it!

4. Thus, its easier to think that you will get rewarded, when you have got a choice in front of you, and you find that, the dream can be far far away but still struggles for it. Hmmm, may be! The story or the pursuit finally ends by telling us those lines or future aspect of Chris, who happens to become one of the leading stock broker of US.

Performance by Will Smith is incredible and the first time, I forgave him for acting in Independence Day and MIB. The time I saw tears in Chris eyes while sitting in a metro toilet, hearing the guards kick the door, my sensitive and sensible eyes understood the need of pouring some wind screen washer which later worked as  ear wax cleaner!

Watching Hollywood flicks can never be a boring thing unless you are completely obsessed with the job you do at office all the time and for those morons like me who never cares to think beyond two years, these 90 minutes can be a place where dreams let happen all the day or to en extent -EMPATHY!!!!!!!

Pity You........

Peeping to some one sitting nearby is a common problem for all men,
Why he is peeping or let me find out the exact meaning for that clichéd term…...
Will that come under the purview of  curiosity?
Can I define it?
Ok leave it…

Then, the topic which I was ready to slaughter was
optimism hiding behind the shadow of desperation.

Yes, that phrase is un separable from my life so far.
Often I wonder, why I am alive, why should I live?

And also, why you are alive and the purpose you live for!

Exponents of the Existentialism may have a lot to say about this topic and so do the optimists and the so called generation new  think tanks with a claim of transforming zillions of tired minds to poetic creativity.

But my question is why some people are seeing only the first line of George Orwell
i.e. All men are equal!!

Listen boys, there is one more line…..
But some are more equal!!

Thus the moment you start comparing yourself to me and start criticizing me seconds after you finish this whole foolishness, the heading is finally worth Googling!!

Ok. Ok

Now listen,
you are born with a price tag and it can only be decreased as you grow up. Remember those days of your infancy.

At least 90% of neighbors were ready to carry for a ride even though they never made that a routine.
But as you grew over a period of time, only persons concerned over you is just our parents.

When you fell down, broke your teeth or finger or the time you spilled some blood because of your heavy weight classmate, they were with you to heal you.

Then the period came when you slowly started realizing your capacities and capabilities.

The amount of information you can gulp , the formulae you could remember and the names of dead rulers who never done any good to your life than make them a victim of your help less curse!

Where I’m going?

Ok, coming to the point…

I mean to say this,
never get carried by words of learned men in all cases. Sometimes it can prove fatal.
The only person to lose for sure is you.

So don’t get upset if you cant write or think like me. I would like to make little advise here.

Never care for your parents or teachers at a particular point of time when you have no other choice than what your mind says.

You might be in love, or having an illicit affair or  considering the extreme probability being exploited by a homosexual( ha ha ).

Being a true libertine, I would say that you keep those things to yourself, never take or ask for a second opinion.
The moment you go for it, you lose your chance of making the natural selection. ( here, pls note that I’ve my own versions for many a terms in modern science)

Then again,

coming to what I say,

when you get a chance to make a choice, make it and go for it. Never mind those gurus of time or the care of the most gentle society over you , all to make you a well worth citizen in our new day world.

Now, just think once, deep in your mind, have you remained stagnant over everything?

Never, ever!

You had even Oedipus complex and at those times, you might’ve even tried to make a homicide of your beloved dad!

When you’ve done all those wrongs and proved that you are born free and have no control over your thoughts, then

Where’s the benefit of  tuning yourself  to some one else’s word?  So walk alone and especially when you are born in Kerala, you are always alone.

The support you  receive is because of the expectation that you may help them in their needs. This is one reason in hundreds that I don’t like our people.

They are pseudo morals, picks nose, intrudes every where, criticizes all and at the same time, keep their doors open to receive all the possible gains from the society and never forgets to ignore the needy.

The trend among us continues and can not be changed unless a complete washout happens.

Why I am not afraid of cyber space

Let me ask you all,

What is privacy? That too in cyberspace?

Ok its acceptable that you don’t want to read those mails which offer from penis enlargement to mass money transfer from a civil war disturbed African nation.

Apart from that it’s the area of the pseudo moral watch dogs who are always available to protect our sisters and aunties from the clutches of sex seekers or abusers.

My thought goes like this... There are about 650 Crores of people in the world and out of it; lakhs die every single day from various causes.

And among the rest, the so called internet users can be a maximum of 10 crores and the so called victims of net fraud according to me are only a few thousands.

After all, who are we?

When compared the persons listed in the Forbes Magazine, who is Ajay Nambiar from Payyoli?

Or who the hell is my dad who has just about 3 acres of land in his name that too filled with Mandari stricken coconut trees!

Who among the so called spam vendors from cyber space will try to inviting or convincing to buy those things which he never would have heard other than from BBC?

So I am not afraid and so happy to hear someone who will try to fool me to invest or buy something when I have nothing left in my hand. Usually with a born miser tag attached to my CV, I am so happy to wait till those items get vanished from the market.

Is it a bad thing to believe that I am nothing in this whole world and my existence simply is no body’s need?

Thus, note down my address from the website and try to induce me, seduce me, invite me, fool me, woo me, irritate me, pester me,  harass me, disturb me, annoy me, mail me, spam me or even kill me.

For me, everything is ok because I believe that I am just nobody and you people don’t think that I am desperate, not at all.

But in the mean time, don’t think that you are unavoidable in this world.

I say, it’s the very next minute after you die; you are one among the billions who are no longer remembered by the billions who are living for the moment.
